SAL Promotion for C&C

Great news from the SAL, where C&C athletes have won the SAL Division 3 North and been promoted. The Southern Athletics League is the area track and field league for clubs in the SEAA region who wish to compete in joint (male & female) teams.

The team went into Saturday’s match in second place in the league, hoping to secure promotion, By winning the match and Northampton placing fourth in theirs, C&C topped the league points table, level with Herts Phoenix. However, C&C’s higher match points total meant C&C ultimately came out on top.

Everyone who competed this season has contributed to this excellent result by filling in events to score points. The athletes range from u17 to V60 so it highlights the diversity of our club.
