Podiums at the 2023 Cardiff Cross Challenge

This year the Cardiff Cross Challenge 2023, the event’s 26th edition, introduced an Elite Mile. 

The field for the day included athletes from more than 10 countries, and Hannah Irwin from C&C took the inaugral women’s mile title!

Hannah achieved this despite being under the weather the week before, and being more of a 10,000m runner, surprised herself over this shorter distance race.

Alex Melloy came third in the Men’s 1 mile race, meaning podiums all round.
