Cambridge Congestion Charging Zone Proposal

Many of you will have seen that a proposal has been put forward for a Cambridge Congestion Charging Zone.

I want to assure you that this is something that your club committee is well aware of.

We have put together a letter setting out the issues that the club will face should these proposals go ahead. We are also in contact and liaising with other interested parties such as the Hockey Club, and the University, so that we will form a strong and unified voice to get our case across. We will be stressing the many benefits that our club has provided to the area for generations, and want to continue to provide for generations to come.

Please also be aware though, that the proposed changes, if they were to go ahead, won’t come into effect until 2027/28 at the earliest; a lot can change in that time.

So stay focussed, and know that your committee is on to it, and will be working hard to secure the best possible outcome that we can for C&C.
