Bronze for Tom at World Championships

Tom Keen was part of the mixed relay team that won a historic bronze medal at the World Cross Championships in Serbia yesterday (30th March 2024).

This was the first ever medal for the British mixed relay team in the event and the first medal at the championship in eleven years.

Tom was the lead off runner for GB and had a strong leg handing over in ninth place. Following on from Tom’s strong start, team mates Alex Millard, Adam Fogg, and Bethan Morley used their experience to work their way through the field to secure the bronze medal. Full results can be found here .

It was also a special moment for Tom’s coach Mark Vile who also won a team bronze medal at the same event 41 year’s ago.
