AGM & PRIZE-GIVING, MONDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2023 @ Wilberforce Road

It is with great pleasure that we invite all young athletes, their parents, prize winners and their families, and all club members, to join us for an important, and celebratory evening.

The Annual Meeting represents an opportunity to review our athletes’ accomplishments, and to vote in your officers for the year ahead, to ensure we can continue to keep the club moving forward.

Here is the timetable for the evening:

6:30 – All young athletes arrive for fun activities outside.
7pm – All (parents, young athletes, club members, prize winners and their families) come up to the pavilion. Prize giving starts with competition medals for the young athletes, followed by the main club awards, and interview with a guest speaker.
8pm – AGM: Chair’s report, followed by the Treasurer’s report (incl. subscription fees proposal for 2024), and the election of officers
8:30 / 9.00pm – Completion of AGM.

A light buffet with hot and cold drinks will be available.

C&C is a club run for, and by, its members, and the committee operates only with their explicit consent. The Annual General Meeting gives members the opportunity to scrutinise the accounts, vote on any motions, and vote for the committee members (Trustees), as follows: President, Chair, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Track and Field, Endurance, Coaching Coordinator, and Welfare.

With the exception of the Welfare Officer, all of the current officers have agreed to stand again. However, the constitution allows for others to be nominated too.
