Young Athletes Qualify for EYAL plate final

C&C’s young athletes produced a great third place finish at their last EYAL match at Bedford on 11th August. They were against strong oppostion with league winners Havering and host club Bedford and County placing first and second respectively.

As a result of their success from five league matches the young athletes will now contest the league plate final on the 15th September which will take place at Bedford.

Charlie Knott continued his impressive season with a win in the U17m high jump with his first 2m jump. This moves Charlie up to 3rd place in the UK u17 rankings. In addition to this, Charlie equals the club record which has stood since 1973!
