FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

The club have been made aware of a potential funding opportunity for young sportspeople between the ages of 11-25. It is called the Future Champions Grant and applications are now invited. It is supported locally by Marshall of Cambridge. The scheme is being organised by Hannah Brooks, Senior Active Lifestyles Officer, Cambridge City Council.

There are grants of £50 – £250 available for young people age 11 – 25 years old to help them with their sporting journey, this could pay for
club kit, travel expenses, coaching or accessing competitions.

To be eligible, applicants should be:

• Aged from 11-25 years
• Competing at county or regional level
• Living in Cambridge City or South Cambridgeshire
• The majority of their training should take place in Cambridge City
