Frostbite Friendly Sunday 8th December 2019

The third Frostbite met of the season takes place on the 8th December at the 1940s Camp, Wood Lane, Ramsey, Huntingdon, Cambs PE26 2XB. Car Parking is all on site with the race HQ in the Drill Hall next to the Finish Area. Toilets, changing (no showers) and refreshments are all close to the finish area.

As usual, no need to pre-register. Just turn up and look for the Club banner and Alan Baldock, to let him know to expect you at the finish.

The 1.5 mile junior event starts at 10.15am and will take the form of a figure of eight around two fields. Spikes or trail shoes are recommended. The same goes for Senior footwear, as the 5.2 mile run starts from the same place, follows field edge then a track out into the fens along Meggs Drove and back in along a lode before return to the finish. Elevation is a mere 45m. Come dressed for the weather and make sure you have layers to put on afterwards.

Aftertwo meets, Cambridge and Coleridge Seniors are sharing third place in the League with BRJ. The Juniors are currently 14th. This is an inclusive event where everyone helps to score for the Club by taking part and we hope to see as many youth and senior C&C Members there as possible. Lift sharing is usually organised via the C&C Endurance Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/candcendurance/

Currently these events are supported by two volunteers and there is often an expectation that participating clubs provide race officials or marshalls on the day. If you are coming to support a runner, therefore and are interested in keeping busy whilst at an event, please let either Alan or Karen know and we can get you involved.
