Frostbite Friendly League – Nene Park – 3rd November 2019

20 C&C runners made the trip to Nene Park in Peterborough on 3rd November, where Bushfield hosted a bright and damp race, the second in the series.  Many runners were making their Frostie debut, and a vigorous muddy time was had by all.
The juniors were one runner short of a full team, but Isaac Pembery romped home in 16th, followed by sister Immy as 6th female overall.
For the seniors, John Baslington and Al Pritchard tussled at the front in 14th and 16th place. This leaves the seniors in 4th place overall, with 4 races to go, next one at the 1940s Camp Ramsey on the 8th of December. It would be good to see more of the clubs juniors and seniors alike enjoying this inclusive, friendly (and free) local race series.
