Celebration and Prize Giving Evening – 7th October 2019
Dear Fellow Club Member,
We would like to invite you to this year’s Celebration and Prize Giving Evening on the 7th October at the Club House, Wilberforce Road.
Our guest speaker will be GB athlete, Thomas Somers. Thomas was an outstanding junior GB athlete running the joint second fastest youth 200m time. Only Usain Bolt has run quicker for this age group.
The programme for the evening will be as follows
- 6.30pm – Young athletes session led by Thomas and Ric
- 7.30pm – Buffet for athletes and guests served in the Club House
- 7.45pm – Presentation of Young Athletes Participation Awards followed by the presentation of Club Awards
- 8.30pm – Q&A session – your chance to engage with Thomas
This is an opportunity to meet fellow club members, their families and supporters in a relaxed social environment and to extend our congratulations to the athletes’ for their performances and contributions to our club.
