Track and Field Competition
Below is a listing of some the various types of Track and Field league and Championship competitions available to C&C athletes.
A detailed description of these and other available competitions, and indication of the standard of each event is given in the annual C&C Competition handbook
Eastern Young Athletes League (all athletes under 17)
Division 1, 5/6 matches during the season - Sundays
Southern Men's League (Senior Men specifications only)
Division 2, 6 matches during the season - Saturdays
Southern Women's League (Senior Women and Under 15 Girls)
Division 1N, 5 matches during the season - Saturdays
East Anglian League (all age groups)
5 matches during the season - Sundays
Eastern veterans League (Over 35's - midweek league)
4 matches on wednesday evenings with 3 male and 3 female age categories
Cambridgeshire AA Championships
Normally the 2nd Saturday in May - All age groups - Cambridgeshire athletes only
Eastern Counties Championships
Normally in July - events for all agegroups - East Anglian athletes only
South of England championships
Under 20's, Under 17's and under 15's normally late May
Seniors normally mid June
English Age-group championships
Under 15's, Under 17's, Under 20's, Under 23's and Seniors - various dates

The C&C Senior team finished 2nd overall in the Frostbite league series and the Junior team finished 4th. Well done to everyone who competed.
Congratulations to Ben Kelk who finished 3rd in the 60m Hurdles at the Aviva England Athletics, Under 20, 17 & 15 Indoor Championships. In this, his first National Championships as an Under 20, he achieved a new indoor PB of 8.05 secs which places him 20th on the UK All Time Best list.
After Ed Aston's impressive 800m at the Aviva Grand Prix, achieving an indoor PB of 1:48.24 which was within the World Indoor Championships qualifying standard, he has been selected to compete as a GB Senior at the championships in Doha in March. This will be Ed's debut as a GB Senior athlete. Congratulations to Ed and the best of luck for the coming championships! more on the Grand Prix...
